Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Foreman Ironworker to lead and oversee steel erection projects on-site. This role requires strong leadership skills, hands-on expertise in ironwork, and the ability to coordinate crews, equipment, and schedules to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a crew of ironworkers in steel erection and installation.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution.
• Oversee crane operations, rigging, and welding activities on-site.
• Maintain and enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and OSHA standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades.
• Train and mentor crew members to maintain high-quality workmanship.
• Ensure job site efficiency by managing materials, tools, and workflow.
• Conduct site inspections and address any structural or safety concerns.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Ironworker, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural drawings.
• Strong understanding of rigging, welding, and steel erection procedures.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and operate equipment safely.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.
