Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Apprentice Ironworker to assist in steel erection projects on-site. This role requires employees to listen and take direction, interpret, and foresee the needs of journeymen and foremen crew members to ensure successful project execution. This position has the potential for great growth and learned experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Journeymen and Foremen in daily Ironwork duties.
• Coordinate and anticipate the needs of Journeymen and Foremen on tasks.
• Gain problem-solving skills and next-step anticipation by completing similar tasks over time.
• Learn blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution.
• Maintain and enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and OSHA standards.

Qualifications:

• Entry Level. 1+ year of experience in construction preferred. 
• Ability to read blueprints and learn to interpret structural drawings.
• Strong understanding of jobsite conduct, safety, and communication.
• Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and operate some equipment safely.
• Ability to take direction and problem-solve.
